Recently, in Ejere, Ethiopia, according to the believers in that village who reported this story to Richard Greene of the Keystone Project, fifteen Christians visited a local witchdoctor to appeal to him to become a Christian. They had been praying for his conversion before their visit, but their prayers did not seem to have the desired effect on the witchdoctor when they approached him.
Instead of becoming softened to the Gospel in answer to their prayers, the witchdoctor rudely insulted the Christians and began to drive them off his property. But at that very moment, a bolt of lightning struck the witchdoctor's house and set it on fire. The effect on those who knew the situation with the Christians and the witchdoctor was profound. In fact, 34 people, including the witchdoctor's own son, became believers as a result of what happened that day.
