Deconsecration Rite

Place the object upon the alter and concentrate upon it. See it as it was consecrated in a ritual, try and visualize the object surrounded by a ball of colored light that corresponds to the object. See the color slowly get pale...and eventually turn white. Take up the object and hold it in the smoke of the incense:

Here do I hold a _____. No longer does this represent anyone or anything. It is once again simply an object, signifying nothing. Anything that I or anyone else does to this object will have no relationship to the person or thing this used to represent. This ______ is now pure and clean, cleansed of all energies.
