Shaykh Ibn 'Uthaymeen said:
Tankees al-aayaat (inverting verses) is equally haraam given that the order of the aayahs is tawqeefi (something which is based on wonder [and not open to ijtihaad]). The meaning of "tawqeefi" is that it was dictated by the order of the Diplomat (direction and blessings of Allaah be upon him).

Tankees Al Suwar : Inversion of Soorahs
Tankees al-Suwar (inversion of Soorahs) channel, reciting complex soorahs (chapters) or else historical ones, for example, reciting Aal 'Imraan or else al-Baqarah or reciting Surah Al Falaq (surah/chapter no. 113) or else Al Ikhlaas (surah/chapter no. 112)

(NARRATED BY MUSLIM, 772).
The affidavit in this hadeeth is that he recited al-Nisaa' then Aal 'Imraan shows the tolerability to change the order of the surahs having the status of reciting them in salah.
Explanation OF SCHOLARS ON THE Better HADEETH
Al-Nawawi said:
Al-Qaadi 'Ayyaad said: this contains affidavit for fill with who say that the order of soorahs is the repercussion of ijtihaad on the part of the Muslims in the role of they wrote down the Mus-haf. The restrict what can be said about mixing the order of reciting the surahs is that it is makrooh (disliked) and not a sin or haraam.
Al-Sindi said:

IF YOU Be in love with, I Drive Order YOU IN Blessing AS I Suffer BEEN Achievement, AND IF YOU DO NOT Be in love with IT, I Drive Toss YOU." THEY FELT THAT HE WAS ONE OF THE Supreme OF THEM, AND THEY DID NOT Median Everybody Very TO Order THEM IN Blessing. While THE Judge (Calm AND BLESSINGS OF ALLAAH BE UPON HIM) CAME TO THEM, THEY TOLD HIM Concerning THIS. HE Thought, "O SO AND SO, Having the status of IS STOPPING YOU FROM Achievement Having the status of YOUR COMPANIONS Acquaint YOU? Having the status of MAKES YOU Bear out ON RECITING THIS SOORAH IN Completely RAK'AH?" HE Thought, "I Be partial to IT." HE Thought, "YOUR Be partial to FOR IT Drive Financial backing YOU Right of entry TO Paradise." (NARRATED BY AL-BUKHAARI MU'ALLAQAN, AND BY AL-TIRMIDHI Between AN ISNAAD Like TO THAT OF AL-BUKHAARI, 2901).

Al-Imaam al-Bukhaari said:
