Magick Mirrors

Magick Mirrors Cover The black scrying mirror, or magick mirror, is a powerful psychic tool. It can bring the user hidden knowledge and clairvoyant ability and can act as a portal to other planes of existence. History shows its use in many of the traditional mystery schools and oracular temples. Today the serious student of magickal arts can rediscover the ancient rites of the magick mirror, for these techniques are again coming to light.

Scrying can be defined as the mantic art of gazing into or upon a crystal or dark mirror, allowing the physical eyes to relax, thus letting the inner psychic eyes begin to open and receive desired visions or information. The use of the black mirror is one of the best methods of achieving the state of mind required for entering trance and for scrying work. It not only acts as a focal point for visualization but can become a doorway into the astral plane. It allows communication with higher realms and the subconscious and access to Akashic records. The traditional crystal ball is also a wonderful tool, but it is more difficult to scry with and is extremely expensive. The mirror is a more efficient way to begin to learn to scry and journey in other realms.

Magical Ethics

Posted by Mystery at 4:23 AM Labels: black magic, book of shadow, book of shadows, cool magic, learn magic, learn witchcraft, magic ebooks, occultism, pagan books, wicca book, witch, witchcraft books
Magical Ethics Cover There's a saying among the contemporary pagan community that "black magic is whatever works, White Magic is anything else." This stems in part from a misconception that black equals bad, white equals good, and that there are no gray areas at all. However, nothing could be farther from the truth.

Let's look at the word black itself, and figure out why it connotates evil. A big part of that is thanks to pop culture -- after all, in popular shows like Charmed or Buffy the Vampire Slayer, the good guys are the "white light" people. The bad guys are surrounded by darkness. Another part of the whole black = bad concept is because of people who can't let go of their Christian upbringing, in which those who are righteous are surrounded by the light of God, and those who are damned will dwell in darkness.

The problem with this logic is that darkness in and of itself doesn't have to be bad at all. After all, how beautiful is a quiet night out in the country, miles away from the lights of a city? Have you ever walked in the woods at midnight, embracing the comfort of the shadows? Darkness is what lies in the soil, below the earth, before a plant grows in the spring. It is the long nights of winter, when we are drawn into our homes to embrace our families and count our good fortune. It is the inside of the womb, warm and nurturing. Even the darkness of the grave, of death itself, may be seen as welcoming.

Once we accept that dark isn't all that bad, it's a lot easier to look at the concept of "black magic" vs. "white magic." Even if we replace the words "black" with "negative" and "white" with "positive", we're still in a bit of a pickle, and here's why: because it is the intent that matters as much as the action. In other words, if someone performs magic that others might see as "negative," but does it for what they believe is an honest and just reason, then is it really negative magic?

To do magic is to say that you want to bring about change in the Universe -- after all, if everything were perfect, there'd be no need for magic at all. Any magic capable of causing change is also magic that can harm, simply by its very nature. Magic isn't some Super Spooky Power that we have -- it's a tool we can use to precipitate changes. Any tool can be used for helping or harming -- if I have a hammer, I can use it to build a house. I can also use it to whack people in the head. It's not the hammer that's "negative", but what I choose to do with it.

Case in point: in the early nineties, a serial rapist was terrorizing the women of a coastal city in the Carolinas. His reported victims, over two years, numbered at least two dozen, including a teenage girl who later committed suicide. A group of witches got together one night, and did a working calling for this man to be stopped by the Universe. A couple of weeks later, the prime suspect -- who was later convicted -- led police on a high-speed chase and wrecked his car, nearly dying from his injuries. He has lived since then severely handicapped, but he never raped another woman.

Negative magic, or no?

There are people within the wiccan and Pagan community who feel that any magic that affects other people at all is unethical, and they have the right to not perform any magic on, against, or for others. However, there are an equal amount of people who believe that change brought about by magic is acceptable, just as change brought about by mundane methods is acceptable. Chances are, the two camps will never agree, but what you can do, as an individual, is respect the beliefs of those who may disagree with you, whichever side you may happen to fall on.

Look at magic as a way to improve your life. You can use it to bring love to you, to gain financial abundance, to eliminate problems from your life. You can use it as a method of growth and self-empowerment. It can be used to help you fulfill your dreams, desires and goals. Can you use magic to help other people? Sure -- if they ask you to. If they haven't asked -- or if they've specifically told you NOT to do anything on their behalf, then don't.

Ultimately, only you can decide which forms of magic fall into your personal system of ethics. If you feel a particular course of action is wrong, then avoid it. If you feel it is ethically acceptable, and you're willing to accept the results of your actions, then so be it.

Magic Wands

Posted by Mystery at 4:23 AM Labels: book of shadows, cool magic, magic books download, magic spells, magick spells, money spells, wicca and witchcraft, wicca book, wiccan, wiccan magic spells, witch books, witch website, witchcraft
Magic Wands Cover Cliched as it may sound, the wand is one of the most popular magical tools in Wicca, as well as in some Ceremonial Magic traditions. It has a number of magical purposes. A wand is used for the directing of energy during a ritual. Because it’s a phallic symbol it is used to represent male energy, power, and virility. Representative of the element of Air (although in a few traditions it symbolizes Fire), the wand can be used to consecrate a sacred space, or invoke deity.

A wand is a thin, straight, hand-held stick of wood, stone, ivory, or metal. Generally, in modern language, wands are ceremonial and/or have associations with magic but there have been other uses, all stemming from the original meaning as a synonym of rod and virge, both of which had a similar development.

The Great Book of Saint Cyprian gives step-by-step instructions on how to make a magic wand.

In Pharaonic Egypt, toilette articles, weapons against possible enemies, amulets against serpents, were also left in the tomb, together with magic Texts and a magic wand which enabled the ka (soul) to use them. The rod of Moses was a hazel wand (Genesis 30:37) as depicted in catacomb frescoes of the third and fourth centuries.

In classical Greco-Roman mythology, the god Hermes/Mercury has a special wand called a caduceus.

Six to eight foot long staves with metal tips adorning them are carried traditionally in Freemasonry during rituals of the Craft. Ceremonial uses may have several wands for different purposes, such as the Fire Wand and the Lotus Wand in the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn. In Zoroastrianism, there is a similar ritual implement called a barsom. In wicca and Ceremonial magic, practitioners use several magical tools including wands for the channeling of energy—they serve a similar purpose to the athame although the two have their distinct uses. While an athame is generally used to command, a wand is seen as more gentle and is used to invite or encourage. Though traditionally made of wood, they can also consist of metal or crystal. Practitioners usually prune a branch from an Oak, Hazel, or other tree, or may even buy wood from a hardware store, and then carve it and add decorations to personalize it; however, one can also purchase ready-made wands. In Wicca the wand usually represents the element air, or sometimes fire, although contemporary wand makers also create wands for the elements of earth and water as well. The wand is most often used by modern Pagans, witches, Shamans and others in rituals, healing and spell casting.

There is some scholarly opinion that the magic wand may have its roots as a symbol of the phallus. It may also have originated as the drumming stick of a shaman, especially in Central Asia and Siberia, as when using it to bang on his drum or point, to perform religious, healing, and magical ceremonies.

Magic Spell To Change Your Lovers Mind Cover If your love has decided to leave you for some one else.
If you're your love wants some time to think if he or she wants to be with you or not.

For this spell you will need:
1. Green goddess candle
2. Red god candle
3. A new unused pink taper candle
4. pink rose buds
5. red rose buds with petals
6. ground damiana herb
7. rose oil

Before you begin your circle mix the red and pink rose incense and the damiana together. To begin the spell cast your circle as you usually do. When invoking the god call in Cupid and then light the red candle. For invoking the goddess call in Venus and light the green candle. Next pick up the pink candle and the rose oil. As you anoint the candle with the rose oil speak the following words:"With the oil of rose I do anoint this candle. Now may this candle perform magick of love and friendship for those who use it."
After you have gone all around the candle rubbing the oil into it place it in a candle holder and speak the following words:
"Venus, Goddess of Love and Beauty, Cupid God of Love, I ask you to bring to me the one true male/female I am destined to spend my life with in love."
Light the candle and say: "As the flame is lit, so may it burn to you my request."
Next go to your cauldron. If you don't have a cauldron you will need something to burn incense in. Take a small pinch of the incense you mixed earlier and sprinkle it on the coal
or whatever you use to burn and speak the following words:
"I make to you Venus and to you Cupid this offering of incense to increase the strength of my magick."
Next take the rose oil again and say as you sprinkle one drop of oil on the coal:
"I add the essence of rose to this brew."
Pick up the lavender oil and again with a drop of lavender say:
"I add the essence of lavender to this brew."
Then take a moment sitting on the ground to look into the flame of the pink candle and visualize the outcome you seek. Once you have completed that release the Goddess and God and then undo your circle....your ritual is now complete.

Witchcraft A Guide To Magic Cover

Book: Witchcraft A Guide To Magic by Anonymous

There are a few techniques that must be utilized for this part of spellworking. Ability to Meditate This is the art of clearing the mind of all mundane thoughts and feelings. It is a state of relaxation and peace, the goal to reach a state of nonthought.

This is not easy and I still haven't mastered the technique yet, but do the best you can. There are several very good books on the subject and even in many of the books on Wicca and witchcraft there are simple techniques to help in mastering meditation. This is essential to spellwork. Your mind must be at peace so that you can focus on what you're trying to accomplish. Ability to Visualize This is the ability to see with your mind, not with your senses. Although it is called visualization, remember, use all your senses!

Marriage Love Spell With No Ingredients Law Of Attraction

Posted by Mystery at 2:17 PM Labels: hex, liberoz, magick
Marriage Love Spell With No Ingredients Law Of Attraction
This spell uses no materials or supplies, and instead operates on the principal of the Law of Attraction. This spell is therefore suitable for those who want to do magic spells without using any ingredients. The Law of Attraction holds that if you decide upon what you want and can focus your mind on the idea that it is essentially already yours, the universe will find a way to ensure that you receive it.

[H]ere is a breakdown of a free love spell to make a man marry you. In fact, it's a free love spell to bring about any result you want.

1 - Decide what it is you want. (Just make the decision and accept the fact that this is the way it's going to be)

2 - Get on with your life. Don't start messing with it. You wouldn't board an airplaine and proceed to start telling the pilot how to fly the plane. Don't try to tell the Universe how to bring you what you've decided is already yours.

There you go. Two simple steps that will make a man marry you, or make your ex lover want you back, or bring you the partner of your dreams, or anything else you want in your life.

This spell was found at the website Free Love Spells To Make a Man Marry You.

Magic Spell For Weight Loss

Magic Spell For Weight Loss Cover Whatever you might have ever thought about you not wanting to be happy and healthy in every way, dancing with life, know it isn't true.
It just seems that way sometimes.
This is a very powerful evocation of one of the greatest powers in the universe.
It WILL HELP YOU to find the strength within you need to stand up and cast off all that heaviness and sadness, anger and loneliness, shame and misery.
And it gets easier once you get the ball rolling, you know that's true.
Light a white candle in a totally dark room and speak the following invocation (you need to learn this by heart before you start but you can do that, right).

Weight Loss Spell - Venus Evocation

Venus,
Goddess of Beauty,
Goddess of women,
Goddess of love,
I evoke your power
to aid me,
to make me strong,
to fill me with your power
to help me in my purpose
to be the best
that I can be.

Venus,
Goddess of Beauty,
Goddess of women,
Godess of love,
I evoke your power
to heal me,
to cleanse me,
to charge me
with life
and love of life.

Venus,
Goddess of Beauty
Goddess of Women,
Goddess of Love,
I call you
into my life
to stand beside me
to protect me
to guide me
towards beauty,
and love.

SFX 2006

Look into the candle flame and see yourself in the future, of the right age, BEING HAPPY and ALIVE (which is MUCH more important than "being thin"!).
When you are ready, blow out the candle.
Here comes the real magic.
Anytime before you eat (and where you can), light a candle to Venus before you start.
A lot of people eat a lot of stuff and they don't get fat - it's a mystery, really.
Let the power of Venus transform your whole eating experience.
When you're done, leave a small morsel as a token offering and blow out the candle.
When you are in a place where you cannot light a candle, imagine one so strongly in your mind that you can nearly see it right there on the table in front of you and act just the same, quietly inside.
Should you feel it wearing off after a week or so, do the ORIGINAL full on evocation with the prayer above again to strengthen it even more.

This is very powerful, it really does work and YOU deserve to be happy, and alive ABSOLUTELY.

Blessed be,

StarFields

A Further Note: Weightloss is also about changing the way you eat and what you eat, AND what attitude you have when you're eating.
That's the practical side of weightloss, and this is a place where this spell and the Goddess Venus can come to the rescue.
For example, if you are getting those feelings inside that tell you that you need to eat to relieve them, what really helps is to say:

Venus, Goddess of Beauty,
Goddess of Love,
Goddess of Women, Goddess of Power, STAND BY ME!
Help me, change me,
make me right, make me bright!
Transform me in your image
This is my will.

... or words to that effect, so that the *energy* of the Goddess Venus can flow through you and really, truly, CHANGE you, help you change what needs to be changed so you can be healthy, flowing, beautiful in the truest sense of the word.
Do this all the time, like a mantra, it makes A LOT of difference, you'll see!

* A further update:
I have had *a lot* of feedback from people saying they LOVE this and how much it has helped them, especially in dark nights when you are all alone and feel you need to comfort eat, but also when you are out and about and get the sense that others are judging you.
One young lady from the US told me that it had really helped her with GUILT over having eaten at all! This can only be for the best, that's for sure.
This invocation and the idea to call on Venus particularly for help with weightloss/being more beautiful and more healthy was delivered to me in the old fashioned shamanic "flash of an insight" in response to the original request. I don't know if this works for men, I suspect it is very specific for women of all ages, for the essence of Venus is - WOMAN. I'll see if I can find something similar for men, and I guarantee it won't be Mars, either ...

Tommy Johnson Was A Practitioner Of Voodoo

Posted by Mystery at 4:16 PM
Tommy Johnson Was A Practitioner Of Voodoo Image

Papa Legbas Voodoo Veve

One of the most legendary VOODOO SPELLS involves going to a crossroad to obtain a wish or special talent and making a deal with the Voodoo Loa, Papa Legba. Papa Legba is a powerful Voodoo deity who is responsible for guarding the gateway between the two worlds. Papa Legba is the guardian of the crossroads. The crossroads is the place where these two worlds meet.

When you ask Papa Legba for a favor, you should always bring him a gift. Papa Legba loves the simple pleasures in life. He'll be very happy if you bring him some coffee, a small amount of tobacco, peanuts, mango, dried beans or a bottle of rum.

Many Voodoo practitioners swear that the Crossroads ritual will work when everything else has failed. Papa Legba is considered to be the most important of the Voodoo Loas. If you make a request of him and provide him with a gift, he will consider granting your request. You must also make a deal with him in exchange for your wish being granted. Papa Legba will "open the door" and all of the other Voodoo Loas will work with you on his behalf. This can help you achieve whatever you want in life.

You may have heard the story about Tommy Johnson, a legendary bluesman and guitarist from Louisiana. Tommy Johnson was a practitioner of Voodoo. Tommy Johnson claimed that he had no real talent for music before he performed the Crossroads Voodoo spell. After the Crossroads Voodoo ritual, Johnson became one of the most influential guitarists in history. Johnson said that he took a guitar up to the Crossroads and a shadowy figure appeared and tuned the guitar for him. After that, Tommy Johnson could play his guitar like a master. Tommy Johnson became famous and very successful. When he died in 1956, he was considered one of the most sought after bluesman in the United States.

To perform the Crossroads Voodoo ritual, you will need to go to a crossroads at midnight. A crossroad is the intersection where two roads meet. It is best to find a dusty old crossroad in a secluded and dark area. A crossroad in the country will work well. You want a private crossroad, where you can perform your ritual in peace and where you are not likely to be disturbed by someone else.

Before you go to the crossroads, you will need to decide what you want to gain from performing this magical ritual. If you want to become a great musician, like Tommy Johnson, bring your musical instrument to the crossroads. If you want to become a famous ballerina, take a pair of ballet slippers. If you want to write a best-selling novel, bring a nice pen with you. If you hope to win the lottery, bring a lottery ticket. If your desire is to be in a relationship with a certain person, bring a picture of your desired one. You get the picture.

Don't forget to bring a gift for Papa Legba. You don't have to bring a large offering; However, Papa Legba likes to receive a small token of your appreciation.

Arrive at the crossroads at midnight. Speak out loud to Papa Legba. Ask him to hear your requests. Tell him about your desires and what you would like him to command the spirits to do for you. Next, place your offering for Papa Legba on the ground next to the crossroads. Tell Papa Legba that this gift is for him.

Next, you will wait to see if Papa Legba shows up. If he does, he may appear as a mysterious and dark figure. Papa Legba will often appear in forms other than a human form. Sometimes he will appear as a black bird, dog cat, or other animal. When Papa Legba arrives, you are going to make a pact with him. Many people confuse this with selling their soul to the devil. This isn't what is happening. Papa Legba is not Satan. If you perform a Crossroads Voodoo spell, you will not have to spend all eternity in hell in exchange for obtaining a special talent or having your wish granted.

You will promise something to Papa Legba. He may accept your offer right away or he may further negotiate with you. Offer him what you think is fair. For instance, you may ask to become a famous actress and offer to donate 25% of your future acting income to a charity. You may promise to volunteer at a shelter twice a week for the next 20 years. Your offer should be in proportion to your request. If you have a big wish, you should make a big offer.

When you deal with Papa Legba, you need to make sure that you will be able to keep your promise. After Papa Legba accepts your offer, he will grant your desire. If you want to learn how to play a musical instrument, he'll tune it for you and show you how to play it. If you need money, Papa Legba will show you exactly how you are going to obtain it. Papa Legba will make it happen for you.

If Papa Legba grants your desire and you fail to keep your end of the deal, you will have to pay the price tenfold. You'll lose everything that Papa Legba gave you and then you will lose some more. You'll lose your talent, your fortune will evaporate and your happy relationship will become a nightmare. Make sure that you are always able to keep your promise to Papa Legba.

If you wait at the crossroads for over an hour and Papa Legba doesn't show up, return again the next day. You may have to repeat the Crossroads VOODOO SPELL up to 9 times before Papa Legba appears before you and grants your wish.

Magic Secrets Cover What is magic? It means that someone has a way to do something that seems impossible to do in the eyes of another one. magic users often believe that they have a way to control things or people.

A long time ago, the ones gifted with magical knowledge would use their skills for the following reasons: they would heal people, they could find a way to know what really happened when something someone was wrongfully accused, they could decide to go nasty and do bad magic and lastly, they could do magic to make a spirit go away.

Black & White Magic
If you decide to do magic, you have the choice of doing good magic (white) or bad magic (white).

When you see movies with battles undoubtedly the end is written in way that it's the good guy versus the bad guy and the good guy always wins. The same principle applies when you compare Black Magic and white magic.

White magic means good magic. You use this kind of magic to do some good in this society while using techniques that is harmless to either you or the others.

Because there is always two sides to a medal, you have black magic. When you think black magic, you think evil and doing bad things. When performing this magic, you need to conjure evil spirits.

'Sorcery & Witchcraft'
Black magic is known throughout the world as witchcraft, sorcery or any other terms associated with it. However today's society warlocks or witches don't really want to harm other people.

Today's Black Magic'
In the black magic world of today, these are the following things you might learn if you decide that you want to learn the black art.

1. Fortune telling will give you the ability to see the past and to predict the future.
2. The ancient art of divination will let you find other people's secrets.
3. Invoke a spirit to cast a spell on someone.
4. You can put a curse on someone you want to hurt
5. Evocation will give you the chance to conjure up a spirit.
6. There's a great chance that your concentration will benefit through various actions exercises.
7. Further to contrary beliefs, you can heal while you do black magic.
8. To thank or reward the spirit that helped you, you can do a ceremony

Unfortunately, in today's society people believe that black magic will be done to do bad things.

If you read about the history of black magic and you decide to compare the black magic from then and today's magic you will learn that it is not as bad as it may sound.

If you believe in magic, you will want to know more details about how today's black magic works. Furthermore, the more you read and the more you learn, you will find how black magic is not related at all to worshiping Satan.

What black magic teaches is to love yourself, love and respect nature and that everything complements themselves especially men and woman.

Finally, something will make you wonder about spells, special ceremonies and finally curses. All these elements lets you respect this noble art called magic.

Magic Items

Posted by Mystery at 4:23 AM Labels: book of shadows, book of spells, magic ebooks, magic library, money magic, occultism, pagan books, wicca love, wicca love spell, witch spells, witchcraft, witchcraft magick
Magic Items Cover A magic item is any object that has magical powers inherent in it. These may act on their own or be the tools of the person or being whose hands they fall into. Magic Items are commonly found in both folklore and modern fantasy. Their fictional appearance is as old as the Iliad in which Aphrodite's magical girdle is used by Hera as a love charm.

Magic items often act as a plot device to grant magical abilities. They may give magical abilities to a person lacking in them, or enhance the power of a wizard. For instance, in J.R.R. Tolkien's The Hobbit, the magical ring allows Bilbo Baggins to be instrumental in the quest, matching the abilities of the dwarves.

Magic items are often, also, used as plot coupons. he characters in a story must collect an arbitrary number of magical items, and when they have the full set, the magic is sufficient to resolve the plot. In video games, these types of items are usually collected in fetch quests.

Many works of folklore and fantasy include very similar items, that can be grouped into types. These include:

* Magic weapons
o Magic swords
o Sentient weapons
o Magic guns
* Magic rings
* Cloak of invisibility
* Potions
* Rods
* Staves
* Magic carpets
* Seven-league boots
* Fairy ointment

Artifacts

In role-playing games and fantasy literature, an artifact is a magical object with great power. Often, this power is so great that it cannot be duplicated by any known art allowed by the premises of the fantasy world, and often cannot be destroyed by ordinary means. Artifacts often serve as MacGuffins, the central focus of quests to locate, capture, or destroy them. The One Ring of The Lord of the Rings is a typical artifact: it was alarmingly powerful, of ancient and obscure origin, and nearly indestructible.

What Is Good For Us

What Is Good For Us

From FR STEPHEN at Prominence TO GOD FOR ALL THINGS:

We billet in a culture that has a reasonably hot assumption of what is good for a human separate. We cling to inspiration of the "American Dream" and other ideals. Self-help books be crammed, each with its own understanding of what it type to be positively, profitable, pleasant-sounding, etc. Ordinarily these cultural norms run react to the writings of the Clerical fathers - sometimes scandalously so. Impression the behindhand quotation from the Ditch Fathers:

"Euprepius blessed us with this benediction: MAY Dread, Humility, Lack OF Produce AND GODLY Downhearted BE With YOU."

I am usual that were I to end a assignation in my region with such a blessing manifold group would be either confused, maybe even enraged. Contemporary are things in our culture that manner fear as always a bad thing; similar to vigor in our culture promotes reserve (make contact with things close to "American Deity"), lack of produce is a curse and Godly anguish is absolutely the different of the spiritual life marketed turn utmost of our culture.

But the writings of the walk out on fathers cling to a assorted aim of view. Their rationalize is the conversion of the human stature. Contemporary is a prominence that penury, whether in the form of fear, degradation, drought or anguish are be condescending tools in the hand of God to bring about the blessing of our lives and to re-create us a holy beings.

Christ in half a shake sets out to fast for 40 days behindhand His Baptism. He does not begin His ministry defective such hunger. He did not make Himself a unknown to anguish, but strategically prolonged His travel to help his dying friend Lazarus. Contemporary He encounters expression of grief and anger, questioning and heartache. And introduce He raised the dead.

I cannot consider of a disc saint in the Clerical, from St. Paul and the Apostles pushy who were unknown to any of the benedictions free by Abba Euprepius. But well-run Christianity has finished itself a unknown to these things. Theologians of assorted stripes go so far as to inventiveness the thanks in the slant of thought and anguish and notice they cling to no bottom line in themselves. (A recent try out on NPR offers a very thin reason by the scholar Bart Ehrman, of the University of North Carolina, of why he no longer believes in God. Of course, he never knew or was a part of Straight away Christianity and has simply reached a paw marks set by the modern institution).

The quote from Abba Euprepius is a protest march of the Practice - one that not on its own knew and held the meaning of thought and did not fear to offer such a blessing. But such knowledge can on its own be civic in the basic. It is not a syllogism that satisfies the good sense. In this manner, we are annoyed to bring to mind that the elevated and on its own battleground of the Christian thanks is the human basic. Someone's unbelief on its own tells me whatever thing of their basic at a particular jiffy. Unbelief does not epigrammatic us of the last end of a stature, for on its own the God who know the human basic can know such a thing. But on its own the human basic can faithfully know God. For in the basic all things dwell: illusion, hell, God, the demons. Everything is introduce.

It is adolescent be in awe that we search to billet somewhere in addition. But every other world is but a hoodwink or impoverished make up of the human basic. We be supposed to make that psychosis journey and carve turn the rigid swagger if we are to find the coverage of God's mercifulness and the infinity that is the breadth of the human stature.

Magic Circle

Posted by Mystery at 4:23 AM Labels: ancient book, black magic, book of shadows, magic library, pagan books, pagan stores, spell books, white magic, wicca book, wicca love, wicca love spell, wiccans, witch books, witch website, witchcraft
Magic Circle Cover An important part of Ceremonial Magic was the drawing of a Magic Circle around the magician to protect him from the malice of evil spirits that he might invoke to perform his will. The circle was symbolic of a sphere that was believed to surround the magician. It both isolated him from the chaos outside and held in the magical power that he raised.

Magic circles were used for thousands of years and often took elaborate forms, requiring the inscribing of magical symbols, such as the Seal of Solomon (a double pentacle). In ancient Hindu folk customs, the bed of a woman in childbirth was encircled by red lead or black pebbles to ward off evil influences.

In medieval magic practice, the circle was usually marked or drawn around the magician with a magic sword or knife. It might be some nine feet in diameter to allow the movements of the magician in his evocations. Portable forms of magic circles were sometimes drawn on parchment and used as talis-mans.

Casting a circle

Creating a magic circle is known as casting a circle, circle casting, and various other names.

There are many published techniques for casting a circle, and many groups and individuals have their own unique methods. The common feature of these practices is that a boundary is traced around the working area. Some witchcraft traditions say that one must trace around the circle deosil three times. There is variation over which direction one should start in. In Wicca a circle is typically nine feet in diameter, though the size can vary depending on the purpose of the circle, and the preference of the caster.

Circles may or may not be physically marked out on the ground, and a variety of elaborate patterns for circle markings can be found in grimoires and magical manuals, often involving angelic and divine names. Such markings, or a simple unadorned circle, may be drawn in chalk or salt, or indicated by other means such as with a cord.

The four cardinal directions are often prominently marked, such as with four candles. In ceremonial magic traditions the four directions are commonly related to the four archangels Michael, Gabriel, Raphael and Uriel (or Auriel), or the four classical elements, and also have four associated names of God. Some varieties of Wicca use the common ceremonial colour attributions for their "quarter candles": yellow for Air in the east, red for Fire in the south, blue for Water in the west and green for Earth in the north (though these attributions differ according to geographical location and individual philosophy). Other ceremonial traditions have candles between the quarters, i.e. in the north-east, north-west and so on.

Generally, as with most magical practices, an incantation is recited stating the purpose and nature of the circle, often repeating an assortment of divine and angelic names.

Purpose of Magic Circle

Traditionally, circles have been used by ritual magicians to form a protective barrier between themselves and what they summoned. Nowadays, circles often have the more benign function of containing and concentrating the energy raised during a ritual. In Wicca the common technique for raising such energy within the circle is by means of a cone of power.

Circles can also be used as barriers for non-magical work such as meditation.

Cutting a door

The barrier is fragile and sensitive to things passing through it. Leaving or passing through the circle often weakens or dispels the barrier. This is referred to as "breaking the circle". It is generally advised that practitioners do not leave the circle unless absolutely necessary

In order to leave a circle and keep it intact, wiccans believe a door must be cut in the energy of the circle, normaly on the East side. Whatever was used to cast the circle is used to cut the doorway, such as a sword, staff or knife (athame), a doorway is "cut" in the circle, at which point anything may pass through without harming the circle. This opening must be closed afterwards by "reconnecting" the lines of the circle.

Closing the Magic Circle

The circle is usually closed by the practitioner after they have finished by drawing in the energy with the athame or whatever was used to make the circle including their hand(usually in a widdershins, that is counter-clockwise, fashion). This is called closing the circle or releasing the circle. The term "opening" is often used, representing the idea the circle has been expanded and dissipated rather than closed in on itself.

Spell To Bless A Website Image
During the period of a waxing moon, stand outside where the light from the moon is unobstructed by trees and other objects. Bring a bowl of water that you have dedicated for this purpose and place it beneath the moon light. To the water, sprinkle some sage or rosemary and some crushed rose petals.

REPEAT THE FOLLOWING THREE TIMES:

"My mind I will speak Through this invention of man Your counsel I seek For the protection at hand Web be blessed, so mote it be!"

Place the bowl of water near where you work on your website for a period of three days. During that time, you should make changes to the site's layout, add content, or in some other way give your site some tender loving care. The bowl doesn't have to be right next to your computer, but it should at least be in the same room.

Book: The Magical Pact Of The Illuminnates Of Thanateros by Peter Carroll

Since the inception of the Chaos Magic current some individuals have elected to work alone whilst others have worked in concert in a loose configuration of allied groups. The Magical Order of the IOT has in practise functioned as a highly creative Disorder. This creative disorder has spawned, among other things, a structure known as "The Pact". The Pact is, in contradistinction to the usual implications of such a name, a friendly society for mutual support and encouragement in the field of magic. The Magical Pact of the IOT represents another phase of the current of Chaos Magic in which its practitioners elect to work as an integrated force. The Pact is a vehicle for the pursuit of the Great Work of magic and the pleasures and profits attendant upon this quest. The Pact also acts as a psychohistoric force in the battle for the Aeon.

Historically, all magical and mystical organisations have used the Hierarchical Gambit to create pressure for excellence on those working at all levels of the hierarchy. Yet, positions of mastery within these organisations have often depended more on questionable claims to authority from concealed sources than from technical accomplishments.

House Blessing

Posted by Mystery at 12:04 AM
House Blessing Cover
Assemble:

1. Salt & Water
2. Incense (fire and air)
3. Milk & Honey
4. Oil (for anointing)
5. Wine (for offering)
6. Bells, Pots, Pans, Whistles, etc.

Cast a circle in the main room (livingroom) and after casting, visualize the circle expanding to include the entire house. Call upon the spirits and energies living in the house (or apartment). Invite those who will be harmonious with the new household and its energies to remain. Invite/ask those who will be happier elsewhere to depart. Release all "energies" not compatible with the new household. (This may be expressed as a "release" in order to unbind anything that may be stuck.)

Then call upon, greet, and invite ancestors, patron deities, and all harmonious spirits and energies to dwell in the house as they please.

Gather up the pots, pans, and all the noise-makers. Go to each door and window, not forgetting the fireplace and dog-door, making as much racket as humanly possible--to shoo out anything unwanted. (This is hysterical fun, and also raises lots of energy for the next important step.) Go again throughout the house and at each portal (door, window, etc.) sprinkle salt-water and cense, saying: "By the Elements I purify and charge this portal." Then anoint the portal with milk and honey, saying: "By Milk and Honey I ensure prosperity and peace within this place." Finally, anoint the portal with oil, saying: "With Oil I seal this portal and protect all within." At the front door a special prayer is said, asking the guardian deities (God & Goddess) to freely grant entry to all friends and loved
ones, and to prevent passage (turn aside) to any who would do harm." Then, if it's a house--pour wine across the width of the threshold; if it's an apartment anoint the threshold with light touches of wine.

The house-holders then each take a sip of wine, leaving some as an offering to the Gods, and the Circle should be closed. The remaining wine, milk, and honey should be offered to the Gods. (In our case to the fruit tree and the oak tree in our yard.)

Addenda: This is very effective if done as part of a house-warming party, followed by much feasting. It has also been done very effectively by two people. It only takes about 30 minutes to do a large house. You _can_ take the time.
Do make certain to "ground" afterward, by closing the circle and by eating. This ritual can "stir" up everybody and make the house feel full of "buzzy" energy.

Is Magic Real And Why Does Not Everyone Do It Cover Question: Is magic Real -- and If It Is, Why Doesn't Everyone Do It?

I'm interested in wicca because I like the idea of celebrating the seasons the way my ancestors did... but I have to tell you, the whole thing with magic and spells seems weird to me. I mean, is it real? And if magic IS real, how come people aren't doing it all the time?

Answer:

This is another one of those questions that people will often provide different answers to. Some folks will tell you that if you don't believe in it, it's not real. Others will say it's real, but it's a tool of the Devil/Satan/MyLittlePony so you shouldn’t use it. Only you can decide for yourself.

The best way to determine whether magic is real is to experiment a little bit. Try some spell work, write down your results, keep track of what happens. Just like any other skill set, it will take some practice. If you don't get results the first time, keep trying. Remember the first time you tried to ride a bike, or your first attempt at baking a cake? It probably wasn't good -- but you tried again, didn’t you?

Often, people show up at wiccan and pagan events and announce "I'm a NATURAL WITCH, oh yes I am, look at me!" but they can't cast their way out of a paper bag because they haven't put any effort into learning about it. Like any other ability, practice is what makes you good. Learn, study, research, and grow. Skill is a combination of study and experience blended together.

Okay, so the big question is, If magic is real, why doesn't everyone do it?

In a way, a lot of people do but don't realize it. Do you ever make a wish and blow out your birthday candles? Cross your fingers for good luck? Pray that you'll get an A on a math test? Some people might consider that magic.

As to WHY, look at it this way. Not everyone rides roller coasters. Not everyone cooks from scratch. Not everyone likes to wear Hello Kitty t-shirts. For some people, it's simply a matter of preference. In many cases, it's a matter of not believing. If you don't believe in magic, or if you think that it only exists in the realm of Harry Potter and the movies, then why bother trying to learn it? After all, it's fiction, right? For other people, there's a perception that magic is evil. In some religions, any power that doesn't come from God is considered bad.

The bottom line is that people have a choice -- for whatever reason, not everyone chooses to live a magical life. That's their decision, based on their wants, beliefs, needs, and imagination, and they're entitled to make that choice.

How To Use White Magic For Good Luck Cover If you are having bad luck use a white magic technique for turning it around. During the process you can also assess the levels of positive and negative energy in your home. These techniques will also reduce or eliminate the effectiveness of evil spells.

Instructions

1.Choose the day and time. The following is most effective when carried out at 12pm on a Tuesday.
2.Fill glasses with water. Have at least one glass for each room of your house. Fill 3/4 full with tap water.
3.Create the mix. Add a teaspoon of sugar, a sprinkling of cinnamon, and a few sprigs of fresh parsley to each glass.
4.Set the glasses. Place one glass with the mixture in each room of your house.
5.Assess positivity and negativity. In homes with high positive energy, the parsley remains fresh. Wilting occurs quickly in homes with negative energy. In case of wilting remove parsley and replace with fresh sprig.
6.Remove the glasses. To notice positive change in your luck the glasses must remain in your home for at least a week. The longer you keep them the better your luck will be.

How To Make A Magic Wand

How To Make A Magic Wand Cover Many pagans and witches find wands useful for focusing energy in spells and rituals. On an altar, this tool represents air. Although you can buy wands from New Age shops made from wood and crystals, making your own is a very personal magical experience that will make your workings more powerful.

Things You'll Need

* A 13 inch branch
* A sharp blade or a wood burner
* Any decoration, you mainly need a focal point at least(a crystal or gem is best to project energy through.

1.Take a walk in a natural place. Keep your eyes open for a stick or branch that has been laying on the ground and that is no shorter than 13 inches. Let it jump out at you, and follow your intuition. This stick should be appealing to you, as it could be a tool that you use for many years. If you feel drawn to a particular tree, connect with its energy and bless and thank the tree for what you're about to take from it, before removing any small branches.

2.Scrape off the bark with a sharp blade or a wood burner.

3.Carve down to your desired shape and style.

4.Use charring to change the appearance or to amplify carvings.

5.Personalize your wand with things yourself. It's YOUR wand pick exactly what you want. You can use feathers, crystals, runes and stones for the internal. Also adding any cords, metal wire, or symbol that is meaningful to decorate the external of the wand. Go with anything that comes to mind. Make it whatever you see it to be.

Tips

* To give your wand a more finished look, sand lightly and apply tung oil (a natural oil derived from the seed of the tung tree).
* You may wish to bless or consecrate your wand ritually, before using your wand for practicing.

Warnings

* Before you turn the stick into a wand, inspect it carefully and put it back outdoors if it has fungus, insects or rot in it.
* Wands are personal things that are very much attuned to your energies. Lending or borrowing wands is an idea that often results in less powerful magic. Making a wand yourself makes it more of your own, deriving from your energy as you making it to get your personal result.
